На этом уроке мы:

узнаем о животных Австралии;
узнаем о животных, выступающих в Театре зверей в Москве;
закрепим лексику по темам «Животные», «Части тела» и «Действия».

ТЕОРЕТИЧЕСКАЯ ЧАСТЬ

Australia is an English-speaking country. There are a lot of unusual animals in Australia because it is far from other countries.

Emus are Australian ostriches. Emus are brown. They have got big bodies with long necks and legs. Emus have got small heads and eyes. They eat plants and insects. They have got dark green eggs. They are strong and can run very fast. Emus are birds, but they can’t fly. Emus are very unusual birds!

Koalas are from Australia too. They are very funny! Koalas have got fat bodies, big ears and heads. Koalas live in trees. They don’t drink. They eat only eucalyptus leaves.

Kangaroos are animals with big bodies and small heads. They have got big and strong tails too. Mother kangaroos have special pouches on their bodies for carrying their babies. Kangaroos are very strong. Sometimes they fight.

There is a wonderful theatre in Moscow. It’s Grandpa Durov’s Theatre. Animals are actors here! Pigeons can walk on the ball. Tigers and elephants can stand on two legs. Hippos can sing. Dogs can jump and dance. They can do a lot of tricks.

All the animals at the theatre are very clever!
