Урок № 28. Tesco Superstore. (UK) Everybody likes presents!

На этом уроке мы:

познакомимся с тем, что продается в одном из популярных сетевых универмагов Великобритании;
научимся рассказывать о новогодних подарках и праздновании Нового года в России;
поработаем с лексикой по темам: «Еда», «Одежда», «Мебель», «Игрушки»;
поработаем с элементарными фразами этикетного диалога по теме «Подарки».

Veliky Ustyug – Великий Устюг, город в Вологодской области, где находится резиденция Деда Мороза.

ТЕОРЕТИЧЕСКИЙ МАТЕРИАЛ

There are TESCO supermarkets in the UK. They sell everything: food (cheese, sweets, fish and meat), toys (dolls, teddy bears, and toy cars), electrical items (TVs, radios), and clothes (skirts, shirts, jeans, jackets), sportswear (shorts, sports shoes). You can buy even some kinds of furniture such as tables and chairs there. People buy presents there too, for example, for New Year, one of the most favourite holiday with British children.

Russian children like New Year too. They like it because they get a lot of presents from their parents, grandparents, friends, Father Frost and Snowmaiden.

Father Frost and Snowmaiden live in Veliky Ustyug in a very beautiful wooden house. In December children write letters to Father Frost. Children ask him to bring some presents. Children often ask computers, mobile phones, toys and games, sweets and books.

Here is the letter to Father Frost.

Dear Father Frost,

I’d like a teddy bear for New Year.

Адрес отправителя размещается в левом верхнем углу, в задании — после слова From, адрес получателя должен находиться в правом нижнем углу, в задании — после слова To.

На первой из 4-х строчек нужно записать имя, на второй – номер дома и название улицы, на 3-й – город и страну, на 4-й – почтовый индекс.
