Урок № 35. The Media

На уроке:

• Познакомимся с лексикой по теме «СМИ»: article, broadsheet, tabloid, gutter press, headlines, newsagent, rival, survey, feature, coverage, update.
• Научимся распознавать новые слова в чтении, аудировании

Ход урока:

Мотивационный модуль: активизируем лексику по теме «СМИ»

Т- 1: During this lesson we’ll discover each option from this chart. We are going to read, watch and listen to the examples of each form of mass media. You should click on any position you’d like. Then we’ll do exercises, the vocabulary of the lesson will be directly connected with information from this chart.

Т-2: На уроке мы подробно узнаем о многих видах СМИ (средствах массовой информации), ознакомимся с успешными примерами; познакомимся с новой лексикой, закрепим её в упражнениях, сможем распознавать её в чтении, аудировании.

Объясняющий модуль: познакомимся с новыми словами по теме «Формы СМИ», научимся догадываться и понимать фразовые глаголы с talk.

Ролик с платформы YouTube, время – 2:45 “Types of Mass Media”

Т-3: В таблице каждый элемент “Clickable”. Таблица в формате “Spider-map”. Кликая на «активный» пункт (выделен жирным), открывается определение этого понятия, больше информации о нём, примеры. То есть, в таблице выделенные позиции привязаны к соответствующему тексту в логической связи.

В spider map вы встретите материал базового уровня, высокого* и повышенного**. Возможно бегло просмотреть все ссылки и ресурсы, а можно остановиться на заинтересовавших и изучить их более детально.

Также мы акцентировали внимание на важность использования разнообразного словарного запаса при разговоре о СМИ. Разобрались с различными значениями фразовых оборотов с глаголом talk.

Работая с оригинальными источниками, вы сможете развивать навыки чтения и аудирования, совершенствовать лексические и грамматические навыки. Это имеет сильный эффект на овладение английским языком в целом.

Questions measuring attitudes towards democracy and media and communication will be included in Round 10 of the ESS. The items are included in two rotating modules, selected following an open competition amongst European researchers. Each rotating module includes around 30 questions.
