Hello, everyone! Today the topic of our lesson is, “My favourite day” and we are going to learn the phrases and the words connected with our activities during the week.
Let’s revise all the weekdays:

For example:
I have a big breakfast on Monday.
I meet with my friends on Friday.
When we mention the part of the day, we use the preposition, “in” in the phrases:
In the morning
In the afternoon
In the evening
And we use the preposition, “at” for the phrase:
At night
Examples:
I do my homework in the afternoon.
I walk in the evening.
I sleep at night.
Let’s look at Tom’s favourite day:
My name is Tom.
I am a pupil, I study at school, in the 6th grade.
I study 5 days a week and my favourite weekday is Friday.
On Friday, I get up early, at 6 o’clock. Then I have a shower and clean my teeth.
After that I get dressed and help my mum with breakfast.
Usually we have scrambled eggs or porridge for breakfast. When breakfast is finished, I always wash up and leave the house at 8 o’clock. I get to school by bus. On Friday, I only have 5 lessons.
I come home early and never do my homework on Friday.
So, I have a lot of free time.
I put on casual clothes and then set off with other 3 boys for our Friday Scout Camp.
We meet up with the rest of the group in the city centre, get on the suburban train and go out of the city.
Before going camping, we buy juice in the supermarket and make sandwiches. Later, when we appear in the forest, we put up our tents and build fires. In the evening we cook our dinner on the campfire, tell funny stories, sing songs or go climbing.
I like Fridays!
